Company philosophy
“Certainly lighter! All our products combine lightweight construction and operational safety. Lighter ropes increase productivity and at the same time improve the CO2 balance during transport and operation.”
HIGH-STRENGTH AND SUPER LIGHT
TROWIS develops and produces innovative ropes for demanding technical applications in Chemnitz. Instead of heavy, rusty steel wires and environmentally harmful grease lubricants, super-light fibres and abrasion-resistant, weatherproof plastic coatings are used. With state-of-the-art technology and uncompromising functionality, TROWIS defines new standards for performance, reliability and sustainability in rope technology. The key advantage over classic steel wire ropes is the significantly lower dead weight. Lighter ropes increase productivity and improve the carbon footprint from production to operation.
