Company philosophy
“Our company philosophy is based on the conviction that sustainable materials are the future of lightweight construction. Bio-based composite materials made from natural fibres are an environmentally friendly alternative that can combine functionality and resource conservation.”
WITH PLANT FIBRE POWER
FUSE GmbH from Leipzig develops bio-based composite materials made from natural fibres for lightweight construction. Its UD tape made from (hemp) fibres is an environmentally friendly yet high-quality alternative to glass and carbon fibres. The tapes are suitable for a wide range of applications such as child seats, electric scooters or Euro pallets ... The potential is illustrated here using a kiteboard made from FUSE tape – a perfect example of how bio-based textiles can easily compete with synthetic composite products!
