Company philosophy

“In addition to regional production and a trusting and cooperative partnership, quality-orientated production is our top priority. Our protective suits are not disposable. Thanks to their service life of 10 to 15 years, THIEME suits can be used for a long time. This reusable system is definitely more sustainable, albeit more cost-intensive.”

It all began in 1911 with ribbon weaving. Today, the company mainly manufactures chemical protection suits and technical textiles. Production is still carried out in-house - at the traditional site in Großröhrsdorf. From the initial idea to development, pattern design using CAD and manufacture through to quality control, the only standardised protective suits in Germany that are currently tested to the latest standards are produced here. Camouflage PSA GmbH has taken over the traditional company E. Richard Thieme.
