Company philosophy
“GREEN inside: environmental protection is an essential part of our corporate policy, as the issue of manufacturing and marketing environmentally friendly products is increasingly taking centre stage alongside our focus on high-quality goods. Modern coatings are increasingly characterised by sustainable and resource-saving production processes as well as high human-ecological standards in addition to outstanding performance properties.”
TRABI? CABRIOLET!
With a spirit of research, expertise and innovative creativity, VOWALON develops, manufactures and sells artificial leather, film and bondings (laminated products). Every year, the company produces around 13 million m² of “Made in Germany” goods in Treuen. The versatile product range includes the VOWAcar division for special textiles for vehicle interiors as the successor 4.0 to artificial leather for Trabi seats – but also for highly flame-resistant sun blinds for buses, artificial leather for rail vehicles or convertible tops and PVC films of the highest quality for boats. VOWAbond materials, on the other hand, are foam laminates for vehicle seats, among other things.
