FROM A BRIC-A-BRAC STORE TO A TEXTILE PRINTING EXPERT
In 1747, Abraham Dürninger from Strasbourg/Alsace takes over the store of the congregation in Herrnhut. As early as 1750, Dürninger prints on canvas for the first time. The manufacture and trade in textiles becomes the main business. The balance between tradition and innovation still forms the basis for Abraham Dürninger & Co GmbH today. As one of the oldest traditional companies in Saxony, it specialised in the printing of promotional textiles in the early 1990s – with a daily capacity of around 20,000 prints on bags, rucksacks, pouches and clothing. Experienced employees ensure quality, flexibility and efficiency, and apprenticeship training is a high priority. Online portals are used for individual design options.
