A NEW THOUGHT: TEXTILE FACTORY MAKES SCHOOL
La Petite Manchester is an experimental school and factory, or in short an experimental production school for recycling textile waste and textile materials. The aim is to find a way to bring training closer to practice and industry in order to address the mismatch between the skills of trainees and applicants and the needs of industry since the rise of digital technologies. Thus, La Petite Manchester was created in 2015 to improve the skills of students, craftsmen and designers and to promote their aptitude for the labour market through the acquisition of technical knowledge.
