THE STUFF OF SNOWBOARD DREAMS
Snowboards essentially consist of a wooden core, base, decor, steel edge, epoxy resin ... and textile layers, so-called semi-finished fibre products. These are usually machine-knitted or woven from glass fibres, more rarely from carbon or hemp fibres. The special feature of silbaerg snowboards are textile semi-finished fibre products which are largely produced by hand using a complex and patented process. The A.L.D. Technology® (anisotropy layer design) used exclusively in silbaerg snowboards makes all the difference: it leads to a completely new riding experience – comparable to the developmental leap from classic skis to carving skis.
